Less Is More

In a previous lifetime, SNUG Co-op was The Original Snug Harbor, a corner neighborhood bar in the Freret neighborhood. Owner Greg Ensslen bought the building when the owner retired and did an extensive renovation. In 2005 SNUG was reborn. Natural wood desks and bookcases are offset by a metal magnet boards and hip, vibrant paint colors. Original wood doors and windows add to the charm as does the exposed beams in the main work area.

Current tenants include: Big Yellow Truck Construction, Go-Mango, Freret Market operations, Creative Zumo and Heaping Teaspoon Films. Past tenants include: several non-profit organizations, computer programmers, architects and an illustrator.

Located in Uptown New Orleans, SNUG is convenient to downtown and I-10, several schools and universities, restaurants and coffee shops and is two blocks off the up-and-coming Freret corridor.
